Statement Re: NJ Supreme Court Decison, Clark Edward Squire.

Statement Re: NJ Supreme Court Decison, Clark Edward Squire.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

We applaud the majority Supreme Court decison today that keeps a convicted cop killer behind bars, and makes clear that the Appellate Court went well beyond reason in denying the full parole process to be completed. To have allowed this murderer to roam free, who to this day, claims no knowledge of the heinous acts committed in 1973 with the cold blooded killing of NJ State Trooper Werner Foerster and aggravated shooting of NJ State Trooper James Harper, and was at the side of fugitive Joanne Chesimard on the NJ Turnpike at that time, would have been a travesty of justice and another slap in the face to the law enforcement community and the victims of these crimes. We will follow the remanded parole process closely going forward, so that all affected can have their voice heard and keep the likes of Squire locked up and away from a civil society, for the rest of his life, as it should be.
